Connector Program Terms of Use

These Connector Program Terms cover participation in the Breakawave Connector Program (the Program). They sit alongside, and form part of, our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. By joining the Program or using your unique link, you agree to all three. If anything in these Program Terms conflicts with the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use apply.

1. What the Program is

The Program is for individuals introducing B2B businesses they know and trust to Breakawave. You are given a unique tracking link. To be eligible for a reward, a referral must come through that link so it can be tracked.

2. What counts as a qualifying ("activated") referral

A referral qualifies for a reward only when all of the following happen:

the business completes their free report through your link,
they have an introductory call with the Breakawave team, and
Breakawave formally engages and begins working with the business (the account becomes "activated").

Breakawave's determination of whether a referral qualifies is final.

3. Rewards

You earn a reward for each business that becomes activated, with no cap on the number you can refer. Reward amounts, payment timing, payment method, currency, and the conditions for payment are set out in the Terms of Use (Part A, Payment Terms) and as published or communicated to you on the platform. Note that activation is what makes a referral eligible; payment is then made on the schedule and conditions in the Terms of Use, which include Breakawave first receiving the corresponding fee from the Partner.

4. Your responsibilities

This is a summary. Your full obligations are in the Terms of Use (Part A). In short, you must:

only share your link or our templates with B2B owners you already have a genuine relationship with (Spam Act 2003),
tell those contacts that you may receive a reward if they work with Breakawave (Australian Consumer Law),
not misrepresent Breakawave, its services, fees, or any Partner, and
use only your approved link and the templates we provide.

5. Changes, suspension, and termination

Breakawave may change, suspend, or end the Program, and may withhold or reverse rewards for fraud, self-referral, or breach, as set out in the Terms of Use. Any change to reward amounts applies only to referrals made after the change takes effect.
